Requires attendance at any one of the Open Houses. Participants must be present so they can be fitted for shoes.
The full cost of the program is $120; we request that parents consider paying the full amount; however, $75 is the minimum registration fee due. This can be paid by credit card, check, or cash. Payment plans and scholarships are available.
Scholarships are available on an individual basis for those who cannot financially afford the $75. To apply, you must attend an Open House and speak with the scholarship representative. No scholarships will be granted over the phone.
Participants who pay the full $120 may go directly to Gazelle Sports after January 1 and before January 26 to receive a full gait analysis, be fitted for shoes and receive a 20% off coupon for an entire purchase. Gazelle is located at 24 W. 8th St, Holland, MI 49423, phone (616) 392-2282. Their store hours are M-F 10-8, Sat. 10-6, and Sunday 12-4. The participant will not receive their shoes if they are not fitted for them. You may also choose to be fitted at an Open House.

Participants who pay the $75 fee will need to attend an Open House to be fitted for shoes. Your online confirmation will be your “fast pass” to proceed directly to the shoe fitting line.

Registration Cost and What is Included:

The total cost of the program is $120; however, since the beginning of the program we have offered a reduced fee, $75, so that more girls would have the opportunity to participate in the program. This $120 covers the full cost of one child’s participation, which includes a well developed curriculum, lessons conducted by a certified GOTR Coach, a new pair of New Balance running shoes, practice t-shirt, an official Girls on the Run Event T-Shirt, and participation in the 5K Celebration Event.

We ask families to consider paying the full cost, as this allows more girls access to our scholarship funds, making it possible for all girls to participate regardless of their ability to pay. The $75 reduced option is available without question. Payment plans are available and parents must attend a Registration Open House to arrange this. We also offer full and partial scholarships on an individual basis. To apply for this, parents must attend a Registration Open House and speak with the scholarship specialist.

No girl will be turned away due to an inability to pay!
