DELTA Project

Domestic violence Prevention Enhancements and Leadership through Alliances (DELTA) Project of Ottawa County is a collaborative primary prevention program of Lakeshore Alliance Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (LAADSV) and Center for Women in Transition. Funded by a sub-contract through Michigan Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, DELTA strives to collaborate with local communities, schools, youth serving organizations, faith leaders, parents, teens, and men and boys as allies to prevent domestic violence before it happens. The DELTA Community Prevention Committee developed the community-wide slogan: Abuse of Any One Harms Everyone. DELTA offers community trainings, class room presentations, and consultation in an effort to promote healthy relationships, active bystander intervention, and teen dating violence and domestic violence prevention.
