Initial Employment: During the first (90) ninety-days of continuous employment
with CWIT, no employee will receive paid time off, earned time off or, or sick
pay. Although (PTO) paid time off, (ETO) earned time off and sick time will
accrue during this period, an employee may not use this time until after
completion of the first ninety (90) days of continuous employment.

Description Summary

Holiday Pay
|
CWIT recognizes twelve days, plus five (5) hours on
Good Friday. |
Paid Time Off (PTO)
|
Regular full and part-time employees, (excluding
shelter staff members) earn approximately fifteen (15) days per year. |
Sick Time
|
Regular full-time employees earn approximately 10 days
per year (Shelter staff earn a combination of sick and paid time off) |
Benefit

Description Summary
|
Shelter Staff Only ETO - Earned Time Off
|
Regular full and part-time employees working in a
shelter aide position will earn .0769 hours of Earned Time Off (ETO) for every
hour worked. This time is a combination of sick and paid time off. |
Health Insurance
|
The Center makes available medical and hospital
insurance benefits to all regular full-time employees. |
Life Insurance
|
Regular, full-time employees are eligible for life
insurance after completing a period of six (6) months of consecutive
employment. |
Short & Long Term Disability
|
CWIT will provide long and short-term disability to
regular, full-time employees after completing six (6) months of employment. |
Flexible Spending Accounts
|
Available for regular full time staff after six (6)
month of employment. Available for certain medical and child care costs. |
Tax Deferred Annuity (TDA)
|
Employees are eligible to establish a tax deferred
annuity account. The agency matches contributions up to 2% of income. |
Retirement
|
The agency may elect to contribute to an agency
sponsored retirement plan. |
Staff Development
|
If included in the agency’s budget, CWIT will
reimburse each full-time employee up to $200 per year in tuition and related
costs upon successful completion of job-related course work from an accredited
college, university or Technical school. |
